Works well with the mechanics, really cool player choice into the characters background story. Would love to see the story go on further devloped, sets for interesting game setting.

I was accepted to the royal navy but I didn't die! So I guess there are other endings to this game. I like that each person has a different story, and the seems like there is only one ending that will be okay. Good narration and clear gamer play. It is like reading a book.

I died by being French once more :( But that's okay lol. I loved the dialogue,  I'm glad that we can interact with that jackass as much as we can. Regrettably I couldn't get the "It's none of your business" option to load for some reason, where it turned my cursor into a little red strikethrough showing that I couldn't interact with it.

Ah, oops! Must have gotten lost under one of my other passages. Thanks for letting me know!

Nice! Really descriptive and interesting paths you can take. I had a feeling being French would not be favorable to a proud Englishman haha. Can't wait to play the full version!

Viability:  It's a demo so not fully done yet, but the overall story is clear and well done so far.

Presentation: I like the use of timed text, It is also clear and understandable.

Theme:  I love this story so far. I like the idea of trying to get out of being drafted and all the little details poured in. The text is well written for this idea and just works very well with it. Good job.

Engagement: I have enough options to be myself and play this out how I would. That adds quite a bit to the immersion. Good job!

Looking good! I look forward t seeing how the knowledge variable will be implemented. Keep in mind that you could hide it completely, and simply track it behind the scenes to hide or show options. You may also show it as imprecise: you know a lot/enough/a little. Lastly, the number itself may be useful to the player, particularly if"information" is a source of resource to manage. In any case, Adding variables to your already strong premise is exciting. Keep it up!

Good descriptions so far. I also like that the sailor only becomes hostile with you if you say you're French. As it should be really. I hope to see you implement some sort of gameplay mechanic to spice things up as we traverse your well written passages!

I committed a crime by being french canadian smh ;(

"You ignore everyone in the tavern, finding more kinship with the sea than any human companion." Lovely! Establishing moral arguments through player choice is the key to a strong interactive narrative. This is a great first sketch,, and certainly a world to revisit. Good job!
